Water Taoists are the more defensive oriented of Taoist siblings. This allows them to study a range of magical skills which can heal, cure or revive others. Water Taoists are the height of spiritual enlightenment, and have lower requirements for many quests (such as rebirth) as their wisdom is like a shortcut in experience.
